EG Civic - Rear Tranmission Mount & Bracket (No Stress on Bushings)
EG Civic - Alternator Clearance (1-2 Inches of Extra Clearance on EK chassis)
EG Civic - Timing Belt Clearance w/Shock Tower (1-1.5 inches of Clearance)

EG Civic - Firewall Clearance (1-1.5 Inches, Motor Does Not Move or Bang Firewall).

The Further Back The Motor, The Straighter The Axles.

EG Civic - Radiator Fan Clearance (EK Chassis Has 1-2 Inches Extra).

Use The Civic Slave Cylinder For Additional Clearance - Must Drill Out 1 Mounting Hole on Civic Slave Cylinder To Bolt Onto Prelude/Accord Transmission.

EK Civic - Front Crossbar

EK Civic - Front Crossbar (Clears Radiator)

EK Civic - Front Crossbar (Plenty of Ground Clearance)
EK Civic - Passenger Side Bracket Mounts to Framerail
EK Civic - H22 Driver Side Bracket w/EK-SR Urethane Mount
EK Civic - AC Compressors Clears Front Crossbar & Exhaust Manifold
Shift Linkage Ran Underneath Car/Firewall
Shift Linkage Ran Underneath Car/Firewall
Shift Linkage Ran Underneath Car Into Cab
Stock Prelude Shifter Assembly

The EG/DC chassis is a tighter fit, but the HCP mount kit still allows for maximum clearance.
The EK chassis allows for more room up front and with the firewall.

EG/DC Chassis - Use 97+ Prelude Power Steering Pump & Bracket

EK Chassis - Use 92+ Prelude Power Steering Pump & Bracket

Modify Civic Power Steering Lines to Prelude Pump

Wiring

For EG Models (EK is similar but more involved) ADD WIRES:

VTEC Solenoid: GRN/YEL on Prelude harness (A4 on ECU)
VTEC Pressure Switch: BLU/BLK on Prelude harness (D6 on ECU)
IAB: PNK/BLU on Prelude harness (A17 on ECU)
Knock Sensor: RED/BLU on Prelude harness (D3 on ECU)

O2 Sensor (CX, VX Models):
WHT wire (D14 on ECU) - O2 Sensor Input
BLK wire (A6 on ECU) - Heater Control
GRN wire (D22 on ECU) - Sensor Ground
BLK wire (B1 or A25 on ECU) - Sensor voltage

LENGTHEN WIRES:

(NOTE: Consult the Helms for the location of sensors, and color code of the wires on your harness)

IAT (GRN/BLU - RED/YEL): Needs to reach drivers side of intake manifold (D15 on ECU)

MAP (YEL/WHT - GRN/WHT - WHT/YEL): Needs to reach the MAP sensor on firewall (D19 on ECU)

EGR Lift Valve Solenoid – Sensor voltage (Tap into YEL/WHT), ECU signal to A11 (on VX, tap into RED from firewall)

EGR Lift Sensor (Tap into YEL/WHT), Ground (Tap into GRN/WHT), EGR signal to D12 (on VX, tap into WHT/BLK from firewall)

02 (GRN/BLU - WHT/RED - ORN/BLK - YEL/BLK): Needs to be run to O2 sensor (See Above)

IAC Valve (BLK/BLU - YEL/BLK): Needs to reach top of intake runners on manifold (A9 on ECU)

ECT Switch A: Needs to be extended to thermostat housing on passengers side, back of the head (D13 on ECU)

NOTE: There is no ECT Switch B on the JDM H22

Alternator: Power wire on the alternator needs to be lengthened 2-3 inches. Cut the plug off the Prelude harness, and attach to the Civic harness

Chassis Preparation

EG/DC Chassis - Trim rear arm on passenger side frame rail bracket 2 inches. Redrill pilot holes to 9/16". Cut a 3x4 hole straight down from the stock radio in the floor for the linkage to run through. Enlargen the hole where the stock shifter comes through for the shifter plate clearance.

EK Chassis - No engine bay modifications needed. Cut a 3x4 hole straight down from the stock radio in the floor for the linkage to run through. Enlargen the hole where the stock shifter comes through for the shifter plate clearance.

HCP mounts have been around for years and have been proven on the drag race track and on the road race course. HCP has done extensive research & development into their mount kits and take pride in their products. The motors are specifically designed to fit in the factory location of the vehicle, without compromising the drivability or integrity of the chassis. With the placement of the motor further towards the firewall, it allows for the straightest possible axle setup with minimul binding and breakage. In addition, HCP has taken into consideration motor geometry, oil pickup, and accessories pumps & compressors (power steering & air conditioning), thus being able to have ample clearance and room to use power steering and air conditioning when applied. HCP has also taken into consideration the amount of hood clearance with all motors, while not compromising ground clearance issues. HCP motor mounts are the only mount kits on the market today that uses real automotive grade urethane pieces, directly from Energy Suspension. These pieces have specific durameter & density settings that will allow for the strongest setup, yet with minimal or zero vibration on the chassis. All motor mounts and urethane pieces are backed by a lifetime warranty which JDMsh!t also carries with the HCP products. You will find in most cars on the street today using HCP products. Don't be deceived by the Canadian knock off motor mounts, or others that look similar to HCP's products. HCP's products have been copied and reproduced with poor research & development, where fitment is very poor and vibration is extremely high. HCP has always been ontop of the industry with first and innovative products, all have been proven on the race track with extreme horsepower applications.
